The Role

The Product Engineering team is looking for a Mid Level Fullstack Software Engineer to drive meaningful impact for our customers. As a Mid Level Fullstack Software Engineer, you will own the design, implementation, and operation of key platform features. We are looking for self motivated individuals from all backgrounds, who are prepared to take on the challenges and opportunities that come from working in a fast paced, early stage company.

 

Primary Role & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, and translate them into technical specifications and implementation plans.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications using NodeJs, ReactJs, Redux, JavaScript and its related technologies.
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end interfaces to create seamless user experiences.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that follows best practices and coding standards.
• Implement responsive and user-friendly UI components using modern web technologies.
• Work with databases (such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL) to store and retrieve data for the applications.
• Develop and maintain microservices architecture to ensure scalability, modularity, and fault tolerance.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces.
• Perform code reviews, provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues, perform debugging, and implement necessary fixes to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in fullstack web development.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of SaaS products, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

 

Ideal Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of professional experience as a Fullstack Software Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, React.js, Redux and JavaScript.
• Experience working with SaaS products and familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and experience integrating with external services.
• Knowledge of database technologies like MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and responsive design.
• Proficiency in version control systems, preferably Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

Work Day: Monday to Friday
Salary : 70,000 to 100,000 BDT
