Position Overview

As a Part-Time Twilio Expert, you will be responsible for developing and implementing robust solutions using Twilio’s services, with a focus on SMS sending, IVR, Messaging, Email, and Dialer development. Your extensive experience with Twilio, combined with your proficiency in Node.js or Python, will be crucial for delivering efficient and reliable solutions. Strong debugging skills and monitoring capabilities for Twilio-based applications will be key requirements for this role. If you have experience in DevOps practices, it would be considered a plus. 

Responsibilities

• Utilize your extensive experience with Twilio services to design and develop reliable solutions for SMS sending, IVR, Messaging, Email, and Dialer development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand project objectives, and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design and implement scalable and efficient communication workflows using Twilio’s APIs and services.
• Integrate Twilio services with existing systems and third-party applications, ensuring seamless data flow and compatibility.
• Develop and maintain Twilio-based applications, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Twilio-based applications, proactively identifying and resolving issues related to SMS delivery, IVR call routing, messaging, email, and Dialer performance.
• Implement effective monitoring solutions to ensure the health and availability of Twilio services and applications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Twilio features, updates, and best practices, and proactively suggest enhancements to optimize our communication solutions.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal stakeholders regarding Twilio services and implementations.
• Document technical specifications, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures for future reference.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Twilio services, including SMS sending, IVR, Messaging, Email, and Dialer development.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js or Python, with proven experience in developing Twilio applications.
• Exceptional debugging skills for Twilio-based applications, with a keen eye for identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
• Solid experience in monitoring and troubleshooting Twilio services and applications.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and experience working in a DevOps-oriented environment would be a plus.
• Solid understanding of communication protocols and telephony concepts.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and experience integrating Twilio services with these platforms.
• Experience in designing and implementing scalable communication workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
